This animation is R&D I did for a sports commercial pitch, where the goal was to fill an entire football stadium full of 3d animated characters all performing the "wave". Character placements and timing offsets were all automated via MEL scripting, so the look and feel of the shot could be re-processed easily to change the overall effect of the audience doing the wave. This demonstration is a small sandbox to prove that a wave could be achieved without having to edit and manipulate thousands of animation curves by hand.
A small team of local freelance animators got together with Shilo Design and Scion to produce this television spot for the Little Deviants ad campaign. I animated the abduction shot and an ambient background character, and a range of motion test.
A small team of local freelance animators got together with Shilo Design and Sony Japan to produce this television spot for the new Sony Walkman. I rigged and animated the guitar shot, and did R&D on the shockwave effects running through the wires during the wakeup sequence. Click below to see some highlights from this spot.
A small team of local freelance animators got together with Shilo Design and Fuel TV to produce this television spot for the Action Sports Awards. I was fully responsible for rigging all the characters in Maya, and ensuring character meshes could be replaced during any time without disturbing animation production. A small team of local freelance animators got together with Shilo Design and Planters to produce this commercial celebrating 100 years of Mr. Peanut. I was contracted to jump in and assist with skinning, facial rigging and light animation duties.
